Parkour guide
More control, fewer fumbles. Resynced hands movement back to the player with manual options and snappier ejects.
Movement you control
Resynced rebuilds traversal on the foundations of recent Assassin's Creed games, then hands you the wheel. The standout is the return of a manual jump — you decide exactly when to leap, rather than trusting the game to read your intent.
The new toolkit
- Manual jump: precise, on-demand leaps for gaps and ledges.
- Side ejects: launch sideways off walls and beams to change your line instantly.
- Height-gaining back ejects: kick up and back to grab higher holds fast.
- Quicker move interrupts: cancel and redirect mid-flow instead of committing to a full animation.
Cleaner transitions
Beyond the new inputs, the whole system feels smoother: transitions between climbs, vaults and runs are more fluid, and recovery after a big drop is quicker, so you keep momentum. It's the connective tissue between stealth approaches and combat escapes — and it makes rooftop chases through Havana and Nassau a joy.
Parkour FAQ
Is there a manual jump in Black Flag Resynced?
Yes. A dedicated manual jump button returns precise control over when and where you leap, instead of relying purely on context.
What are side ejects and back ejects?
Directional dismounts: side ejects launch you sideways off a surface, while height-gaining back ejects push you up and backwards to reach higher ledges quickly.
Is parkour smoother than the 2013 original?
Yes — animations build on recent Assassin's Creed titles with smoother transitions, quicker move interrupts and faster recovery from big drops.
