Black Flag Resynced Editions Compared: Standard, Deluxe & Collector's Pre-Order Guide

A pirate treasure spread — open chest of gold coins, a cutlass, tricorne hat and spyglass on dark weathered wood.

With pre-orders live, here’s a clear, no-nonsense comparison of every Black Flag Resynced edition so you can pick the right one — and grab the pre-order bonus before launch on July 9, 2026.

The pre-order bonus

Pre-ordering the Standard or Deluxe edition includes the Blackbeard’s Crimson pack: a unique pistol, a sword with unique perks, and an Edward costume. It’s also bundled into the Collector’s and physical Launch editions.

Standard — $59.99

Just the base game, digital or physical. If you only want to play, this is all you need — nothing in the pricier tiers affects the core campaign.

Deluxe — $69.99

The base game plus two cosmetic packs:

  • Master Assassin Character pack — sword, pistol, trinket, and an Edward costume.
  • Master Assassin Naval pack — sail set, a ship’s pet, crew attire, wheel, figurehead, and hull trim.

The naval cosmetics are the standout if you plan to live on the Jackdaw.

Collector’s — $199.99

For the superfans. It includes everything in Deluxe, plus premium physical items:

  • A 31 cm Edward Kenway figurine
  • A leather logbook with maps and pirate chronicles
  • A metal Assassin insignia brooch
  • An exclusive SteelBook
  • A sea shanty music sheet
  • The Blackbeard’s Crimson pack

Which should you buy?

  • Just want to play? Standard.
  • Want cosmetics, especially for your ship? Deluxe is the sweet spot.
  • Collector who wants the figurine and physical goodies? Collector’s.

There’s also a physical Launch Edition in Europe with a 34-page artbook and world map poster. See the full side-by-side on our editions page, and check whether your PC is ready on our system requirements guide.
