Folk musician and vocalist Sean Dagher, whose booming performances defined the soundtrack of the original 2013 pirate adventure, is reportedly returning to record brand-new sea shanties for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced.

This return ensures that the zero-original-code remake retains the authentic musical soul that made the original sailing experience so memorable, even as the game undergoes massive technical and visual upgrades.

Elevating the Maritime Soundtrack

Sailing the Jackdaw across the Caribbean is incomplete without the crew joining in harmony. While the remake updates the visuals and introduces major gameplay overhauls, the audio design is also receiving significant attention.

Dagher, well-known among fans for his leading roles in classic tracks like Leave Her, Johnny and Randy Dandy Oh, will be lending his voice to the game’s expanded tracklist. The remake is set to introduce 10 completely new sea shanties alongside the returning classics.
