Black Flag Resynced Collectibles Checklist: Every Type Explained

The short answer

Restore the map through the Treasure Dealer first, then clear the Caribbean region by region rather than chasing icons at random. Every collectible in Black Flag Resynced falls into one of a dozen categories below. Most stay available after the story, so the efficient approach is to unlock map restoration early, then sweep one area at a time with a fast, well-armed Jackdaw.

Collectibles are the backbone of Resynced’s 100% and a big chunk of its open-world reward loop. Knowing what each category is — and which ones actually matter for progression versus pure completion — keeps the sweep from feeling aimless.

Reveal everything first

Before you start hunting, unlock and level the Treasure Dealer at Great Inagua. It restores worn map sections and reveals collectible and activity icons across regions, which turns a blind search into a checklist. Buy or find Treasure Maps as you go, too. They mark buried-chest dig sites that won’t appear until you have the map, so they’re a prerequisite for that category rather than an optional extra.

The categories

World & naval activities

  • Forts — capture each naval fort by bombarding defenses and clearing the commander. Big payouts; a required category. Details in the fort capture guide.
  • Underwater Shipwrecks — dive sites holding chests, materials and blueprints. Bring the diving toolkit — see dive anywhere and the diving bell.
  • Legendary Ships — the four naval superbosses; the endgame of the collectible list. Prep with the Legendary Ships checklist.
  • Buried treasure — dig sites revealed by Treasure Maps.

People & progression

  • Officers — assignable crew who grant the Jackdaw passive perks. Recruiting all of them is both a category and a genuine power spike; see Officers and perks.
  • Ultimate Plans — the top-tier Jackdaw upgrade blueprints, often guarded in dangerous locations.

Hideout collections

  • Art & Paintings — pieces you return to the hideout, tied to resident storylines.
  • Portraits — a related collection set.

Weapons

  • Swords and Pistols — some bought from the General Store, others found or earned. Upgrade the store to unlock rare and legendary tiers.

Puzzles & world flavor

  • Mayan Stelae — perspective puzzles that unlock a special outfit-tier reward once all are solved.

The fastest clean-up loop

  1. Level the Treasure Dealer and restore maps so icons appear.
  2. Pick one region and clear everything in it — forts, wrecks, treasure, stelae, shanties — before sailing on. Backtracking across the whole Caribbean is where completion runs bleed hours.
  3. Keep the Jackdaw ahead of the local ship tier so wrecks and forts don’t turn into repair runs. If money is tight, the early-money guide covers the quickest income.
  4. Save the Legendary Ships for last, when the ship is maxed and you have every Officer.
